Until One Day is a Full album of stories and moments that were inspired by experiences I’ve had in the last 9 years that I deemed significant enough to crystalize into song. Each of the songs for Until One Day earned their spot in the line-up because they had been road tested to positive reviews or because they are aligned with the message I’m passionate about. I see a world that is more divided and confrontational than I’ve ever witnessed and, while it would be easy to write polarizing music that appeals to one side more than another, I’ve decided to intentionally write music designed to bring people together.

I want the enduring effect of listening to music to be that people are reminded that we have more in common with each other than we don’t. The songs on Until One Day share a common thread of promoting love, kindness and compassion. The trick, as a songwriter, was to find different ways to share that story. In this case I found 11 of them.

Storytelling is the tie that binds it all together for me and our lives are peppered with a relatively small number of defining moments that stand out in our journey. In every good story those meaningful moments are preceded by some variation of the words ‘until one day.’ It is that moment when you’ve had enough or something happens to set you off in a new direction. I’m hoping people like the music and the intention behind this one, as it contains some of the best songs I’ve ever written. More than that though, the world needs music that brings us back together. Until One Day is my attempt to do that.
