Dave Carroll Bio
Dave Carroll is a Canadian songwriter, author and social media pioneer. He is the creator of a one-in-a-billion viral video, United Breaks Guitars. His $150.00 YouTube music video about his broken instrument and the airline that failed to right their wrong, changed the world. It became “one of the most important videos in Googles history.” Empowering consumers and sending ripples across the global business community after it dropped United Airlines stock by $180 million.
Dave has remained most passionate about music over his 30 year career. This includes his work in the East Coast award winning band, Sons of Maxwell and his solo work. Both fertile ground, for a lifetime of stories and characters woven into the music he loves to share.
The songs from Until One Day were intentionally penned as an alternative to the prevailing sentiment of polarization in society. The music, Dave’s voice and the lyrics collaborate to create a well-crafted sound with subtle hooks hitting the aspirational target. It does so without being preachy.
